OCAPA operates a number of repeaters in central Oklahoma. This page documents each of these repeaters and should be used to get your radio connected to one or more of these devices.
VHF/FM – 146.820 MHz – W5MEL
This repeater uses the common -600 kHz offset and requires a 151.4 Hz CTCSS tone. This system is on battery backup should it lose commercial power. The repeater is located 1 mile North of the State Capital.
VHF/FM – 147.210 MHz – W5MEL
This Yaesu Fusion repeater uses the common +600 kHz offset and requires a 141.3 Hz CTCSS tone when transmitting analog FM. This repeater is back on the air after being relocated to the Newcastle site.
UHF/FM – 443.275 MHz – W5MEL
This is a Yaesu Fusion repeater and has a +5 MHz offset, and requires a 141.3-Hz CTCSS tone when transmitting analog FM. This repearter is located at Baptist Integris. This system is on battery backup should it lose commercial power.
UHF/FM – 444.300 MHz – W5MEL
This is a Icom repeater and has a +5 MHz offset, and requires a 141.3-Hz CTCSS tone when transmitting analog FM. This repeater is located at the Newcastle site. The repeater is capable of D-Star and we are working on connecting it to the D-Star network. Until then, it is available for analog use.
