1.25m (224MHz) repeater online downtown

Recommended Posts

From the SCARS (W5NOR) Facebook page:

Hello fellow Hams:

Steve Hazelwood W5GDL informed me that he has his 224 Mhz repeater on the air on a building in downtown Oklahoma City.

The frequency is 224.920 Mhz with a tone of 141.3 Hz and -1.6 offset. It is also connected to 444.21250 that was the WD5AII DSTAR Gateway repeater on the same building.

He said his future plans is to get the DSTAR up to date and also link the 224 repeater up to Tulsa's 220 Mhz repeaters.

Steve has the DMR repeater (OKC Downtown) on the air as well.

Sounds like exciting things are going to happen.
